For the last couple of years, I have paid more attention to my health because I was starting to experience pre-menopause symptoms. And because Athena had diabetes I looked into that topic a lot. I found some interesting videos on YouTube. But it’s always good to do your research and check with your doctor before taking anything new.
This is something new that seemed interesting today. But it’s stuff I knew already. Since working out with trainers in Lake Elsinore at the Camp Transformation Center. I switched my sugar to stevia, started eating more fish, and started doing more of a Greek diet.
This video I thought was a great alternative to the new weight loss medication that everyone is now taking to lose weight. I’m going to test it on myself to see if I notice a difference. I think slow and steady wins the fat race. So far with diet and walking I have lost 31 lbs and kept it off in about a year or so. I can’t do heavy workouts anymore and I worry about my heart. I have a PFO from birth.
Here are some of the foods I have in my pantry. Hope it helps people. I also worry about my memory so this stuff is important for me. Hopefully it can help some others.
Here is also some cancer info from my friend Karen who was an artist. She did lose her battle. But the information I felt was important for others. Chemo kept my mom Karen going. She is amazing. Mom beat breast cancer and Ovarian cancer because she had amazing doctors and nurses who helped her along with all of us cheering her on. Go Mom!
